Follow the New Forest Code to protect wildlife and other visitors. Keep dogs under close control and do not let them chase animals, and always clean up after them. Do not light fires or barbecues. Stick to designated paths and use car parks, and never camp in the Forest. Ride bikes only on permitted tracks. Drive carefully and watch for animals on the roads. Avoid disturbing nesting birds and other wildlife. Breaking the byelaws can lead to fines of up to £100, and serious offences can be prosecuted with larger penalties.
