Approved External Material

Lists the proposed external building materials for Heritage Cottages and the Heritage Centre at Burley (application 18/00517). For the cottages, it specifies red clay facing bricks or a Hampshire stock blend, clay roof tiles from named ranges, painted timber windows and doors in RAL 9001, buff natural stone window sills, and heritage-style powder coated aluminium ogee gutters and downpipes. For the Heritage Centre, it proposes waney-edge British larch weatherboarding left to naturally silver (with an option to stain black), a brick plinth to match the cottages, a lean-to mono-pitch roof in lead or dark grey zinc with seams, and a main roof using a specified clay tile range or matching the cottage tiles.
