Creating an account on the Pre-application Portal
You can submit and view your pre-application planning applications and documents without creating an account on the Citizen Planning Portal. But to track a planning application or to comment on it, you need to be signed in to your account.
To create an account:
- Click the Sign up option at the bottom right of the box.
- Complete the required fields and sign up.
- Now complete your account profile as you won’t be able to track planning applications or comment on them until you do this. Click the three lines or “hamburger” icon at the top left of the screen to show the left-hand navigation menu.
- From the left-hand navigation pane, select My account, complete the required information and click Save.
- Now you will be able to submit and view your pre-application enquiries.
