COMPLETION OF AUDIT OF ACCOUNTS

Notice of Public Rights

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2015 and any subsequent updated regulations, that the audit of accounts of the New Forest National Park Authority for the year ended 31 March 2025 has been completed and an opinion (qualified due to national auditing constraints from previous years) issued by Ernst & Young LLP. The Financial Report, including the full audit opinion, is published on the Authority website at http://www.newforestnpa.gov.uk by following the path ‘About Us’, ‘Finance’, ‘Financial Report for year ended 31 March 2025’.

A local Government elector for the area may, by prior appointment with the Chief Finance Officer, inspect and make copies of the statement of accounts prepared by the above Authority and/or the audit opinion and/or any resultant reports, on any weekday between the hours of 9.30am and 4.00pm at the address below, or have emailed/delivered to them copies of such statement or report. Comparable documentation for previous financial years is also available.
