New Forest Marque Inspired was introduced as a new branch to the New Forest Marque tree in 2023, bringing together local artists and craftspeople. Supported by funding from Arts Council England, Inspired is open to artists that are influenced by the beauty of the New Forest nature and landscape – which is reflected in their work. Since then ‘Inspired’ has blossomed into a successful group of talented artists who come together for socials, creative exchanges, high-profile exhibitions and showcases.

Supporting local talent

New Forest Marque Inspired helps support local makers and artists during a time when mass-produced products from overseas are becoming more prevalent. These cheaper alternatives often undercut local businesses and threaten their livelihood. Inspired provides not only selling opportunities but also a community, where knowledge is shared and artists can support one another to thrive.
