Applying to carry out tree work

Before you carry out work on trees protected by a tree preservation order (TPO) or within a conservation area you need to submit a tree work application.

Submit your application

The best way to submit a tree work application is online using the national Planning Portal. Your completed application form will be sent directly to our tree team.

You can also download a tree work application form and submit it by:

  • Printing the form, filling it out by hand and posting it to Tree Team, New Forest National Park Authority, Lymington Town Hall, Avenue Road, Lymington, SO41 9ZG
