The pre-recorded assembly will focus on one climate and nature hero (sphagnum moss) who is found in the wetlands of the New Forest. As the New Forest is a mosaic of habitats, we wanted to bring to life a plant that is incredibly important but that many do not know about. It is a great introduction to the special qualities of the New Forest, climate change and climate and nature heroes and encourages students to think about climate and nature heroes that are close to them.
